Community Development  |  Get Involved - Housing Policy

We are updating our housing policy and we need your help!

Our new housing policy will only be effective if it is reflects the housing needs of our citizens. Throughout the month of October, we will be hosting a number of community meetings to talk about what those needs are. These meetings are organized around three broad topics:

LEARNING about affordable housing -- what is means, who it is for, and how it benefits families and our communities;

LISTENING to your housing experiences -- what housing means to you and your successes (or struggles) accessing the types of housing right for you; and

Finding SOLUTIONS -- working together to set housing priorities and to the identify tools and programs to help make sure the County meets the housing needs of all our current and future residents, as well as to create sustainable communities that support life-long success for all.

All meetings will be held Tuesday evenings from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in Room 235 of the County Office Building on McIntire Road. Please see the schedule below for more details. All are welcome to attend.
