Water and Sewer Service

The Albemarle County Service Authority (ACSA) provides public water and sanitary sewer service in the urban area of Albemarle County, Crozet, Scottsville, Hollymead, Ivy and Glenmore. Bills are mailed monthly and can be paid by mail or at the ACSA's administrative office located at 168 Spotnap Road on Pantops Mountain. For information concerning service, call 434-977-4511.

Water and Sewer Emergency Service

ACSA emergency personnel are on call 24 hours a day to respond to water leaks, sewage stoppages, and other such emergencies. Call 434-977-4511 to report a water or sewer emergency.

Underground Utility Line Location

State law requires utilities to be notified 48 hours in advance of any excavation work so that the utilities can locate and mark their underground facilities. At least 48 hours before beginning excavation, call MISS UTILITY at l-800-552-700l.

Electrical Service

Electrical service for most of the county is provided by Dominion Virginia Power. For more information, please call toll free: 1-888-667-3000.Phone service

Natural Gas Service
