Across our area, thousands of households forego a wired internet solution due to cost. During the pandemic, thousands of families found themselves sharing hotspots or visiting businesses or public facilities to use the wi-fi, so that their students could learn on-line.
Addressing affordability requires participation from providers, partners, and all levels of government. With this support, all of our residents should be able to afford the access they need.
