Voters with a Virginia DMV Driver's License or ID may register to vote online.

Register to Vote Online

Visit any voter registration office and fill out a voter registration form by close of business on the last day of registration.

We can accept applications for any locality in Virginia.

You can register to vote in Virginia if you meet the following requirements.

• You are a resident of Virginia
• You are a citizen of the United States
• You are at least 18 years of age by the next November general election
• You are not registered/planning to vote in another state
• You are not currently declared mentally incompetent by a court of law
• If convicted of a felony, your right to vote must have been restored

If you meet these requirements you may register to vote.

• • Early In-Person Voting: Friday, September 20, 2024 - Saturday, November 2, 2024
  • Voter Registration Deadline: October 15, 2024
  • Same Day Registration: October 16, 2024 - November 5, 2024
  • Last day to request a ballot by-mail: Requests must be received by 5:00 PM October 25, 2024
