We post new positions nearly every day. While spring and summer are our busiest hiring seasons, we hire new employees all year long, so check our Jobs page frequently! Some positions have specific closing dates; others may be open until they’re filled.

Once you find a position you are interested in, create an account on our Career Center and apply! You can attach your resume and any other relevant documents to your application. You can check the status of your applications by logging in at anytime and clicking the “Application Status” tab. Timelines for hiring vary by position and location. We also encourage you to join our Talent Community where you can receive notifications when new jobs are posted! 

The Hiring Manager, identified within the job posting, will review applications, select top candidates, and contact candidates to arrange interviews in conjunction with the leadership teams of the respective departments. 

If you are selected for an interview, the hiring manager will contact you directly via phone or email to schedule. Some positions may have just one round of interviews; others may have several. Interviews may be conducted by phone, video, in-person, or a combination of these.

Once interviews are completed and references are checked, the hiring manager will contact their selected candidate to offer a position. Some positions may have multiple vacancies, so there may be more than one person hired. If the candidate accepts the offer, Human Resources will send an offer letter and further instructions via email.

Prior to starting work, all new employees will need to complete a criminal background check. This can vary based on department and position within the County. Human Resources will provide instructions for completing these requirements and any other paperwork, such as tax forms, direct deposit, etc.
