A: Community Development is committed to providing the best service possible to its customers. The new CDS has provided the opportunity for us to refine and improve our business processes, workflows, and data quality. This translates into a more transparent, easier to understand application process, clearer communications between Community Development and our customers, and more efficient application processing and review times.

A: We will update appropriate links throughout the Community Development Website, and post them here once the system is LIVE on January 13, 2025
Q: What is a blackout period?
A: A blackout period is a timeframe when Community Development will temporarily stop accepting new applications in order to properly implement and transition to our new system
Q: When is the blackout period?
A: The blackout period will start on January 1, 2025, and continue through January 12, 2025.
Q: What happens with my in-progress application(s)?
A: Your open application(s) have been copied over to the new CDS when possible. Our Application Services team will still have access to your application(s) and information to continue processing your application(s)
