Public works involves monitoring and maintaining buildings, grounds and various infrastructure. These tasks are carried out by the Public Works Division and the Environmental Services Division of the Facilities and Environmental Services Department.  Together, these teams are responsible for over 450,000 square feet of facilities; 130 acres of grounds; and miles of drainage works throughout the county.
