However, fingerprinting is performed at the below locations.

• For hours and scheduling, visit Fingerprinting — Albemarle County Sheriff's Office (albemarleso.org). 
• Fingerprinting services are held at 501 East Jefferson Street located in the basement of the Albemarle General District Court. Enter through the glass doors and proceed to the basement level, stairs or elevator available.

• Two forms of government-issued identification, i.e., drivers license, passport, hunting and/or fishing license, voter registration, vehicle registration, etc.

Cost:

• $10 for the 1st card
• $5 for each additional card

• We no longer accept cash or checks.  Only credit cards are accepted.
