The criminal division is responsible for preparing the judge’s orders and processing and maintaining the felony and misdemeanor appeal cases handled by the Albemarle Circuit Court.

Additionally they are responsible for calculating and collecting of fines and costs associated with criminal and traffic matters that pass through the court system, and they can assist with the setting up of any payment plan for fines and costs.
