Albemarle County, VA
Home MenuWhat's Camino?
Albemarle County is debuting Camino, a new applications portal which guides our customers through all the steps needed to submit complete applications for: building permits, architectural review board applications, home occupations, subdivisions and applications relating to our water protection ordinance. Camino will enable you to link the information required for us to proceed with your applications review. Our other submittal options remain.
Note: Architectural Review Board, Building Permits, Home Occupations, Subdivisions, and Water Protection Ordinance are the only applications in Camino at this time. More to Come!
Once you determine which application you wish to file, choose one selection from the following option(s): Camino, Online (our standard digital submissions option), or In-Person (via a paper application).
- Camino = Connect directly to the correct application process and be guided through the steps necessary to complete your application.
- Online = Submit your previously completed application plus any related documentation using our digital submission portal.
- In-Person = Complete the PDF presented to you, print your application, and then submit hard copies of your materials and application to us when our lobby is open or mail your application plus materials to us.
