If you have an inquiry concerning property, or what you can do with your property, within Albemarle County you may do so in any of the following ways:

1. Visit our FAQ page to see if the answer is provided.
2. Submit your questions using the contact form at the bottom of the page.
3. Send an email to cddinquiry@albemarle.org.
   (IMPORTANT: Please check your SPAM/JUNK/OTHER folder an email reply from CDD Inquiry)
4. Call the Inquiry Line at 434-296-5832 extension 3440.
5. Schedule a virtual or phone appointment with our Inquiry Planner through Microsoft Bookings on one of the dates below.  

   You will be contacted after you book the meeting to discuss the meeting format that will work best for you.

   Mondays: 10AM, 1:30PM, or 2:30PM
   OR
   Fridays: 10AM, 11AM, or 1:30PM

If you wish to include a plan with your inquiry, please email it to the address listed above.  

To best serve you in any of the above options you choose, it will be important for you to provide the following information:

• Your name and contact information (email is the preferable method of communication)
• The location of your inquiry, either address or tax map and parcel number
  • Need assistance determining the location? Please view our GIS web-based maps.
• Detailed and specific information regarding your question

A Community Development staff member will confirm your inquiry within 24-48 hours which will include a time frame for response.
