Portability

Portability  refers to the process through which a family can transfer or "port" their rental subsidy to a location outside the jurisdiction of the ACOH.

Individuals and families who receive their first voucher from the ACOH can use that voucher to rent a home in Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson counties, as well as the City of Charlottesville.
