Application Deadline for Spring 2021 Additions
Due to the length of the state-mandated application process, landowners who would like to create or join an Agricultural and Forestal Districts in the summer of 2020 will need to submit an application no later than Wednesday, March 30, 2021 at 3:00 PM to the Community Development Department.

Please contact the Albemarle County Real Estate Department with any questions pertaining to use-value or land use taxation, including whether or not your property would qualify, at (434) 296-5856. Please note that joining an Agricultural-Forestal District does not guarantee acceptance into the land-use tax.
