Purpose

The purpose of the Site Review Committee is to identify requirements and make recommendations for by-right development applications. It is composed of representatives of the department of community development, including a planner to evaluate the issues relevant to a certificate of appropriateness that will be considered by the architectural review board for those site plans for sites within an entrance corridor overlay district, the department of fire rescue, the Albemarle County Service Authority, the Virginia Department of Health, the Virginia Department of Transportation, the United States Department of Agriculture, and the Natural Resource Conservation Service.
